A tree and a rope

Love doesn’t feel so beautiful at times

when it’s a rope that’s around your neck

and your love is the strong, breathtaking tree

a tree that wants to hold you tight

but drops you because it’s

just not right for them anymore

remember that love is always beautiful

remember feelings sometimes change

remember it’s okay to not give up hope

your feet can touch the ground
